Easter Selection

Easter celebrations in Alsace

After the Christmas festivities, Easter is also considered to be one of the major events in our culture and traditions. Similar to the traditional Christmas tree, each Alsace home upholding this custom will have an Easter tree. Hand-picked in the forest, then split into bouquets, the branches come to shape the "traditional tree" which takes pride of place in the living room of homes around Alsace. This Easter tree is then decorated with hand-painted eggs and little nests made from moss and twigs, and little ones around Alsace will eagerly wait to see what tasty treats the "Osterhase", a.k.a the Easter Bunny, will leave underneath it.

Do you know the tale of the Osterhase, the Lamala and the Stork?

This is a wonderful Alsace tale that only our Maison can tell you. Our pâtissiers and chocolatiers have turned their talents to telling the tale of these three, marvellous characters who are an integral part of our Easter traditions. When combined, the savoir-faire and talents of our team created the Chocolate Osterhase, our Lamala with an unrivalled, melt-in-the-mouth texture and our majestic stork with impeccable details...

On Easter day, for breakfast or as an afternoon treat, the Stork, Osterhase and Lamala will put on a wonderful (and delicious) show for your guests.

Biscuits and chocolate…

A permanent fixture in our region's living traditions, our Maison is delighted to present you each year with the opportunity to discover a selection of increasing luxury and pleasure. You'll be over-the-moon to know that, to make Easter that extra bit special, you can (re)discover our Osterbredele, similar to our All-butter Easter Bunny Biscuits, in their brand new version: meet our Osterlieb.

We kept this sense of tradition in mind when creating our Easter chocolate figures. Almost exclusively moulded using ancient moulds, passed down from generation to generation, you'll be surprised by their incredible detail, brought to life by the talented hands of our chocolatiers. Resembling our iconic Stork, with its red beak and feet, its white and dark chocolate crest and eye for spotting particularly tasty treats…
